David Archuleta Loses His Jeans for Charity

Millions of girls would love to own a pair of David Archuleta's jeans, but—sorry, ladies!—he's giving them away for a higher cause. The American Idol alum is one of several celebs, including Chace Crawford, Eva Amurri and Damien Fahey, who are donating their denim as part of Aeropostale and DoSomething.org's Teens for Jeans initiative, which will distribute the jeans to 500 shelters for homeless youth across the U.S. and Canada.

Though Archuleta has been extra busy these days with his upcoming National Anthem singing gig at the NFL Pro-Bowl this Sunday, and rehearsals for his upcoming tour, it's great to see the half-hondureño cutie making time for charity.

Want to follow his lead? Head over to your local Aeropostale (go here to search for locations) starting this Sunday through February 22, and just drop off your gently worn jeans. The store will recognize your do-gooder ways by offering 25% off a new pair of jeans, which is even more reason to give back.

Happy donating!
