Dane Cook Asks Out “Heartbroken” Eva Longoria on Twitter

It’s been less than 2 weeks since Eva Longoria filed for divorce from her husband Tony Parker and already the Desperate Housewives star is getting offers to go out on dates.

On Friday, comedian Dane Cook (Good Luck Chuck) used his Twitter account to ask Eva out to dinner and a movie—well, sort of. “Is it too soon to ask @EvaLongoria if she's ready to date?” Cook, 38, asked his 1,539, 259 followers. “I'd like to take her to dinner, a divorce and then a movie," he tweeted.

Two weeks ago, Eva, 35, used her personal Twitter page to go public about her separation from Parker. “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," Longoria tweeted. "We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness." (Eva, who's usually very active on Twitter, hasn't tweeted a single thing since tweeting about her split from Tony on Nov. 17).

At the time, UsMagazine.com reported that Eva was "heartbroken" by Tony's betrayal, and Eva's good friend, Mario Lopez explained that the actress was "devastated."

We think it’s way too soon for Eva to get back into the dating game, especially since she's still nursing a broken heart. But a source close to Longoria tells UsMagazine.com that the actress is ready to move on. "She's figuring out how to put her life back together," the insider says.
