The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: The Most Ridiculous Celebrity Fan Encounters

Some fans will do whatever it takes to get close to their favorite celebrities. Whether that means hiding in a ventilation system or staking out a tour bus, these fanatics show their dedication in strange and creative ways.

From the hilarious to the bizarre, these are the most ridiculous celebrity fan encounters ever:

1. Ryan Lochte

Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte suffered more than embarrassment during a bizarre fan encounter in November 2013. When a teenage girl spotted the handsome Cubano, she charged at him. Luckily, he caught the rabid fan — but they both toppled over and hit the curb. The swimmer blew out his knee, and had to take a break from training and competition.

2. Demi Lovato

A Demi Lovato meet-and-greet took an unfortunate turn for the gassy when an overeager fan got a little too excited. "Just finished a meet and greet," Lovato wrote on Twitter. "Someone legitimately got nervous and farted on me. I guess there's a first for everything... Right?"

A fellow fan wanted to know if the fart smelled rotten or simply made a lot of sound. Lovato put an end to the speculation when she responded, "ROTTEN DUDE!!!!"

3. Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin's fans get an A+ for creativity. Once, while staying in a hotel room, the Puerto Rican singer encountered some intrepid supporters. "[I was] walking around my room naked and I hear this [noise.] I'm like, 'Someone is in this room.' They were in the vents," he said. "They found a way to get into the ventilation of the room!"

4. Morena Baccarin

Word to the wise: don't approach a celebrity (or anybody) if they don't have clothes on.

"I swim for exercise, and as I was coming out of the shower, an older woman proceeded to have a conversation with me about how much she loves [Homeland]," Morena Baccarin said. "It was flattering but incredibly awkward."

5. Enrique Iglesias

Que locas! Enrique Iglesias encountered two uber-dedicated fans who patiently waited for their opportunity to meet the Spanish crooner. "I had a fan hide under a table in my dressing room with her younger sister for ten hours," he told us. "It was about 2 a.m. I don't know how they lasted that long under the table."

6. Natalie Morales

Natalie Morales had an unfortunate encounter with some very rude fans after a tough workout. After Morales exited the gym, a stranger came up to her and said, "You look so pretty on TV!"

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, people.

7. Carlos Pena-Vega

During his days as a member of Big Time Rushhottie Carlos Pena-Vega had some close encounters with brave fans. "We definitely had some people try and sneak on our bus," he said. "Which was really funny, 'cause they tried to act like they were part of the crew. But everyone in the crew knows who's part of the crew, so it didn't really work." Better luck next time, ladies.

8. Jennifer Lopez

Creepy! Jennifer Lopez became the victim of a stalker in the summer of 2013. A fan, John M. Dubis, shacked up in her pool house — even after Lopez placed an order of protection against him! Luckily, police arrested him and charged him with burglary, criminal contempt and stalking.
