Of course, this is not the first time the Oklahoma City Thunder player has taken to social media to give his wife a shoutout. Two months after the couple separated, Melo sent LaLa a loving birthday message.

Back in April, the former MTV host separated from her hubby of seven years after the NBA player allegedly impregnated a dancer from a gentleman’s club in New York.
During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, the Puertorriqueña revealed that despite the rumors she had no plans of signing on the dotted line just yet. “Not right now, I’m not,” she told Williams. “You know marriages are tough, and you know that. We all know that. It’s filled with ups and downs. We are just going through a time right now.”
The 38-year-old, who shared a son, Kiyan, with the ball player, revealed that the couple's number one priority at the moment was their hijo.
″[Carmelo] and I are the best of friends and our number one commitment is to our son, Kiyan,” Anthony added. “I would absolutely never say a bad thing about my husband. That’s my son’s father and he is an amazing dad. I could not ask for a better dad.”
