Camila Cabello brought Fuego on the Today Show this past Friday and dedicated her performance to dreamers everywhere!
"This is for the dreamers", said the 20-year-old singer referring to the Dreamers of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Act, before lighting up the concert with her hit "Havana." She closed her performance with a message reminding people why we come to America and what America stands for, "This is America, the America we love, where no matter your race, your color, your beliefs or where you came from if you have a dream, you can make it possible."
This message couldn't have been said at a better time considering all the controversial issues surrounding America today. Cabello also performed her other singles which include "Bad Things" featuring Machine Gun Kelly and "Crying in the Club". Her fans were tweeting her away with pure bliss and love as she performed on the show along with the audience singing to her unique sound.
The Cuban-born artist also shared her support on Instagram and encouraged others to do the same: "This is for my family....My neighbors.....My friends... my culture..... My community. This..this is for the DREAMERS. To celebrate my single "Havana," and also my hometown and heritage, I am proud to make a personal donation to the @aclu_nationwide to support the Dreamers. You can join me in support by signing this petition (goo.gl/78ds9C) or by making a donation yourself (http://www.aclu.org/havana) - any amount helps the cause. #StandWithDreamers."
