Bruno Mars Serenades Brain Injury Survivor Zumyah Thorpe

Bruno Mars, you're amazing!

During a recent concert performance, Mars serenaded 11-year-old brain injury survivor, Zumyah Thorpe, with her favorite song "Just the Way You Are."

For those who aren't familiar with Thorpe's story -- in 2013 she tragically lost her pregnant mother and two younger sisters in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Thorpe survived the accident, but suffered brain damage and severe physical injuries.

According to People, doctors played Mars' music to aide in Thorpe's recovery.

The 28-year-old singer dedicated his show to the young fan and snapped a couple pics with her.

"Tonight's show was dedicated to this amazing young woman," captioned one of the photos on Instagram. "I love you Zumyah."

Another pic, where Mars is seen kissing Thorpe on the cheek, was captioned with: "Zumyah tonight you gave my band and I something we've never felt before. you're an inspiration to the world! #WeLoveYouZumyah"
