Cameron Diaz On Having Children: "I Ain't That Old"

Cameron Diaz taps into her romantic side for Elle UK’s December cover. In the issue, out on newsstands today, the 40-year-old Hollywood actress dishes on marriage, babies, and fitness.

The half-Cuban star has been known for several highly publicized relationships, including her public split from Yankee’s baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, last year. The Bad Teacher star talks about embracing her single life and admits that she isn’t exactly looking for anyone to put a ring on it.

“[Marriage] just wasn’t the thing I was drawn to. I certainly didn’t want it in my 20s. Or my 30s,” she said. When it comes to starting a family, Cameron also reveals that she isn’t in a rush to get started.

She expressed, “I don’t need to have the children in my life be a part of my literal flesh. And anyway, there’s still a possibility of that, I ain’t that old. I’m feeling very … capable.”

Instead, Cameron is focused on her professional career and is preparing to launch a new fitness and health book for HarperCollins. "It's not about what I eat or do what I do. It's really about the information, so that young girls and women can look at it and make their own choices.”

Who wouldn’t want fitness and beauty advice from her, right?
