The soundtrack for Broadway’s Tony-winning rock musical Next To Normal is infectious, fun and will make you want to get up and dance. It’s totally worth the $17it costs to buy it on Amazon—it’s also worth your money to purchase many of the songs (“I’m Alive,” “Superboy and the Invisible Girl” and “You Don’t Know”) on the iTunes Store. But the Broadway musical, directed by Michael Greif, is a sometimes tedious and sloppy production, plagued by not-so-great acting and off-key singing that you’re better off skipping.
