With the tragic death of Gaspar Henaine (aka Capulina) last week, the premiere of Gabriel Iglesias' new show Stand-Up Revolution and the upcoming 60th anniversary of I Love Lucy, we've been thinking a lot about the huge influence Latinos have had on the world of comedy over the years.

When Ana de la Reguera showed up at our 15th Anniversary party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, we asked the stunning Mexican actress what being Latina means to her. “Here in this country, it makes you different and special,” said de la Reguera, who was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico.
The actress added that her Latino heritage is something she wears proudly. “It’s like a flag that you bring with you all the time. It’s a positive thing and it’s something you want to be proud of," she said.

The 31-year-old Brazilian supermodel is the face of a slew of campaigns, including Victoria’s Secret (of course!), Esprit, and the lingerie brand Hope, and it all adds up—so it was no surprise to us when we learned that Bündchen made the Forbes list of Hollywood’s highest-earning women.

Jessica Alba recently signed on for The One campaign's PSA to bring awareness to the masses about the recent drought and famine in Africa that has killed at least 30 thousand children over the last three months. America lost an iconic figure in technology and business yesterday when Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., died at 56. He'd been battling pancreatic cancer for years before his death was confirmed in a brief statement by the company. The former CEO of Apple was the mastermind behind its innovative gadgets and applications including the iPod, iTunes, iPhone and iPad.
