Zoe Saldana has been tapped as the lead in NBC’s four-hour miniseries Rosemary’s Baby. The show is an adaptation of the 1967 suspense novel by Ira Levin.

When Gisele Bundchen arrived in New York City at the age of 16, she was ready to pursue her career as a model, but there was just one little thing holding her back.
During an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the supermodel revealed she was able to speak two languages (Portuguese and a little bit of Spanish) at the time, but she struggled to communicate with anyone she met because she didn't speak English.
Soon, Bundchen picked up on the language, but not from Rosetta Stone or anything like that.

Carmen Zapata, who launched her career in 1945 in the Broadway musical Oklahoma, died on Sunday from heart problems at her Van Nuys-area home, reports People. The New York City-born star of Mexican and Argentine descent was 86.
In 1973, Zapata founded the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts to help promote Hispanic writers because jobs were so scarce at the time.
