Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is most recently using her vast knowledge and experience to dole out guidance and make rulings not in a courtroom, but on Sesame Street. Currently serving as the first Hispanic on the high court since President Barack Obama appointed her in 2009, this Puerto Rican is lending herself to the popular children’s show’s Youtube page according to Huffington Post.
What was the first case brought to Sotomayor’s attention? Goldilocks versus Baby Bear! After hearing both sides of the story, Sotomayor ruled that while Goldilocks will have to replace the chair she broke when entering Baby Bear’s home, the judge explained that the damage was not intentional and that accidents happen. Sounds like fair advice to us!
Three little pigs and the big bad wolf is the next case up for review, good luck to Sotomayor on that one!
