Today, Jennifer Lopez is a celebrated singer, actress, trendsetter and a judge on television's most popular show, American Idol. But back in 1991, Lopez was still the new kid on the block — literally.
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, Jay asked the former fly girl what her very first job as a dancer was and the superstar had no trouble remembering her first gig. "I got a job working as a backup dancer for New Kids on the Block!" Lopez said. "Dancing on the American Music Awards, and it was a big deal in 1991," she said, adding, "There's a tape out there somewhere, for sure." Then Jay surprised Lopez with the very video she talked about while J.Lo shouted, "Oh no!!!" Watch the hilarity below:
