WATCH: Demi Lovato to Fans, "You Brought Light Into My Life In the Darkest Time"

Four months after she checked herself into rehab to treat "physical and emotional issues," Demi Lovato has created a video message for her fans this week to thank them for their ongoing support. “I wanted to let you know that I'm back and I'm home, but I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the support that you guys have given me along the way," Demi says in the video released today. "I read all of the tweets, the trending topics and the fan mail, and your support is what got me through this."

Lovato, who is still reportedly undergoing outpatient therapy for her issues in Los Angeles, took a deep breath as she began to talk about the tough times she's had over the last four months.  "The journey that I've been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months," she says. "I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls my age, but of all ages, are dealing with. And I hope to one day raise awareness of everything so that I can help people, just like you guys helped me through this rough time. I can't tell you how much light you guys brought light into my life in probably the darkest time," she said.

Lovato closed out the video by saying that without her fans, she wouldn't be back on her feet today, and said she's "excited to get back to work."

We love Demi's honesty and how much she cares about her fans!
