Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and the chicas of Fifth Harmony won big at last night's wild and crazy Teen Choice Awards!
Co-hosts Tyler Posey of Teen Wolf and Modern Family's Sarah Hyland told the crowd that a whopping 165 million votes were cast online for the 16th Teen Choice Awards, which honors stars in movies, television, music, comedy, sports, Web and fashion.
Demi Lovato kicked off the annual awards ceremony with a performance of "Really Don't Care." She then proved that she really does care when she gave a touching acceptance speech after she received the awards for Choice Summer Song and Choice Summer Female Star.
"I want you guys to know that - instead of just getting up here and saying a speech - every single one of you deserves to have a happy and incredible life," she told the crowd of teenagers. "So, be the best you can be in everything, because your dreams can come true if you work hard for them," she said.
YouTube powerhouse Bethany Mota and girl group Fifth Harmony also took home surfboards for Choice Female Web Star and Choice Single Group. "You're all amazing," Bethany Mota said in her acceptance speech. "You all have the potential to be what you wanna be."
However, the most spectacular award of the night went to one incredible Latina: Selena Gomez.
