At the grand reopening of The Conga Room in downtown Los Angeles last night, the theme was neon green—from the flashing lights to the overflow of Mojitos. It’s quite appropriate, actually. After a two-year hiatus from hosting some of the hottest parties on the West Coast, The Conga Room, a.k.a the Latin House of Blues, is back with a vengeance. Located in the heart of the city’s newest (and massive, covering 4 million square feet worth $2.5 billion!) tourism initiative called L.A. Live, the scene was no less than spectacular.
