— He may be in his 80s – and married – but that doesn’t stop Chespirito from flirting with Sofia Vergara. Also known by his government name Roberto Gómez Bolaños, the legendary Mexican comic tweeted to the Colombian actress recently in reference to her appearance, People en Español reports. “I don’t ask how you’re doing because I have seen how you’re doing,” Chespirito wrote to Vergara in Spanish.

— Half-Puerto Rican actress Victoria Justice thanked the superintendent of a Los Angeles school district for encouraging their students to eat healthier and for implementing healthy menu changes, according to Fit Perez. In a letter, the 18-year-old Nickelodeon star wrote: “As a young adult, I care about my health – and the health of our next generation.” 

— Congrats to Anahí! AOL Latino reports that the Mexican actress/singer is the first Latina to become an ambassador for Yoko Ono’s Non Violence Project Foundation. The 28-year-old announced the news herself via Twitter. “It’s so much important for me to be part of a great cause,” the singer tweeted. “Thanks to @NVPMexico and @YokoOno for inviting me.”

— The release date for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim has been pushed up! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film by the Mexican director is now May 10, 2013. The original release date was July 12, 2013.

— Cuban-Guatemalan actor Oscar Isaac has landed the lead role in the next film by Joel and Ethan Coen. According to Deadline, the film is titled Inside Llewyn Davis and centers on the early folk music scene in the 60s in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
