—The Black Eyed Peas member, Taboo opened up about the mixed reviews people gave the group's Super Bowl halftime performance. "There were 100 million viewers. If you get 60 million people who didn't like it and you get 40 million that did like the show, that's a pretty cool thing because you can't please everybody," he said.
— No matter that The Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl got mixed reviews, because their new album started selling like hotcakes. Total track sales rose by 25% from the prior week, for 267,000 total weekly sales and that's what really counts.
— Christina Aguilera is performing a tribute to music legend Aretha Franklin at this Sunday's Grammy Awards, and the Queen of Soul is returning the favor. Franklin came to XTina's defense regarding her Super Bowl fumble. "It was just one line," Aretha noted. "I think she did a beautiful job."
— Cameron Diaz, Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars received nominations today from the Kids Choice Awards. Diaz was nominated for Favorite Voice from an Animated Film for her role in Shrek Forever After, while Selena Gomez was nominated for Favorite Female Singer and Bruno Mars for Favorite Male Singer.
