—Nestor Carbonell will be enjoying a busy year. RingerThe CW drama series that the Cuban actor stars in, has been picked up for a full season of 22 episodes. The show, also starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, is one of the first dramas on network television to get a full order of episodes, according to Zap2It.com.

—The wait is almost over! American Idol’s 11th season will have a special premiere event on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 10PM ET.  Producers have reported to MTV.com that Jennifer Lopez will return as a judge for the hit show for the upcoming season. (e-mail)
