— Natalie Morales is set to host the annual National board of Reviews Awards gala next year, Deadline reports. According to the website, the Part-Brazilian, part-Puerto Rican NBC news anchor will take the mic at the awards ceremony on January 10, 2012 at New York City’s Cipriani 42nd Street.
— Fox’s Alcatraz is undergoing some changes in its show runner. According to Deadline, the time-travel drama series now has Elizabeth Sarnoff as its new show runner. Alcatraz features inmates from the infamous prison.
— Romeo Santos’ debut solo album is on fire. According to Tr3s, the part-Dominican, part-Puerto Rican’s Formula Vol. 1 has topped the Latin Album charts and dipped into the Billboard Top 10. In addition, Romeo’s management has reported that the bachata crooner was last week’s top selling artist in Miami, New York, Houston, and Puerto Rico. Congrats to Romeo on his continued success!

According to People en Español, the lyrical hottie of Puerto Rican urban duo Calle 13 was accompanied at the recent Latin Grammy Awards by Argentinean actress Soledad Fandiño. The website reports that the actress looked very happy to have shared in Calle 13’s successes that night. And who wouldn’t? The duo took home a ton of awards that night – and we wouldn’t expect anything less.
