Star Tracker: Jennifer Lopez, Noomi Rapace, and Dania Ramirez

— There was a time soon after her twins’ birth that Jennifer Lopez felt alarmed. According to People en Español, the 42-year-old singer/actress spoke to CNN in a recent interview about a swelling she found on her daughter Emme’s head.

“I remember thinking that if anything happens to my daughter, I would die,” Lopez said. “Marc [estranged husband Marc Anthony] and I were worried so we decided to call the doctor because we thought that someone, perhaps, had let her fall while we weren’t with her.” It was only a scare, according to E! News, but it made the Boricua superstar understand how other mothers may feel – those without any form of medical insurance. According to People en Español, that is the reason why Lopez and Anthony founded the Maribel Foundation, which works towards better health and well being for women and children.

— A short peek into Prometheus is out, and it’s “epic.” Or so the director, Ridley Scott, describes the sci-fi film. Prometheus, which hits theatres on June 8, 2012, stars part-Spanish actress Noomi Rapace. Check out the sneak peek here.

— According to Deadline, The Artist was nominated for Film of the Year by the London Film Critics’ Circle. The silent romance film, which has already received numerous nominations, stars 35-year-old Argentinean actress Bérénice Bejo. Bejo is among the nominees for the 69th annual Golden Globe nominations – which were announced earlier a few days ago.

— The trailer for Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez’s new film, Wrath of the Titans, is out. The Jonathan Liebesman–directed fantasy film hits theatres on March 30, 2012, according to Deadline. In the film, Ramírez plays Ares, the traitorous god of war.

Dania Ramirez is a stunner! The Dominican American actress stars in Luck Be a Lady, P. Diddy’s new Ciroc ad. In what resembles a mini-movie (directed by Anthony Handler), Ramirez and other stars (including Chad Michael Murray and Eva Pigford) hang out in ritzy areas with their ritzy liquor and enjoy, well, the ritzy life.
