— Jennifer Lopez can’t keep still! Just Jared reports that the 42-year-old Boricua superstar attended a press event alongside her sister Lynda yesterday at the Best Buy in Los Angeles. The reason? The website reports that the store and Samsung have pledged to donate up to $50,000 to the Lopez sisters’ Maribel Foundation. The nonprofit organization aims to improve the well-being and health of both women and children.

— According to The Hollywood Reporter, famed Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar has picked the films he will screen at the American Film Institute (AFI) Festival – and they’re drenched in horror and crime. As the festival’s guest artistic director, the 62-year-old reportedly chose Jean-Pierre Melville’s crime film titled Le Cercle Rouge and Edmund Goulding’s noir Nightmare Alley. The website reports that Almodóvar will attend the festival next month for a 25^th anniversary screening of his 1987 film Law of Desire alongside his compatriot and star Antonio Banderas.

— Nicole Richie seems to be in the Halloween spirit. Just Jared is reporting that the 30-year-old fashion designer/former reality star and husband Joel Madden brought their kids Harlow and Sparrow to a pumpkin patch this past Sunday in Los Angeles. — Our cover girl Selena Gomez stepped out of her hotel recently with her new pup. The 19-year-old part-Mexican singer/actress brought out 10-week-old Baylor from her Toronto hotel, according to Pop Sugar. Gomez recently adopted the dog with her boyfriend, teenage crooner Justin Bieber.

— First Central Park, now all over the Big Apple! According to Just Jared, part-Mexican actress Jessica Alba took to the streets of New York City recently with her hubby Cash Warren and family. Several days ago, the 30-year-old tweeted: “Whattup NY! Been a while! What r ppl up to these days? Exhibitions, music venues, restaurants, night spots? Holler at me.” While walking, Alba stopped by a toy store.

— Have you thought of being Charlie Sheen for Halloween? This year you can – if there are still costumes left. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 46-year-old actor of part-Spanish descent landed a deal with Spirit Halloween stores for a Sheen-themed costumes. The costume includes, according to TMZ, Sheen masks, wigs, and t-shirts that read: “Charlie’s Goddess.” The costumes are flying off the shelf – so if you would like to dress as Sheen this year, get moving.
