—George Lopez may have moved his late-night talk show, Lopez Tonight from 11 p.m. to midnight, but the Mexican comedian is still as funny as ever. In last night’s premiere (after Conan), Lopez told a Latin-centric joke that made his audience split their sides: “60 years ago, a Latino and a redhead made TV history with I Love Lucy,” boasted George. “History repeats itself with Conan O’Brien and with George Lopez! Team Coco, say hello to team Loco!”
—Fergie looked stunning in a red Zac Posen gown at the 2010 Women of the Year Awards, held last night In New York City. The singer, who attended the event with her husband, Josh Duhamel, was named Glamour’s Woman of the Year.
—Meeting Mario Lopez was a dream come true for Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps star, Carey Mulligan. The British actress gushed to the L.A. Times about her major crush on Lopez. “He hosts a show and every time, all the way through awards season, every time we did a red carpet and I saw A.C. Slater, I was like a complete disaster,” said Mulligan. “I went bright red … and they make you stand really close to these people -- uncomfortably close -- and because of the camera angles, I was always within sort of kissing distance. Every one of my dreams has come true this year, including that.”
