Sofia Vergara is a single lady! The Modern Family star split from her boyfriend of two years, Nick Loeb. According to the New York Post, the 39-year-old actress initiated the break-up a few days ago “following a series of arguments.” That may explain why Vergara attended the MET Gala solo on Monday night in NYC.

A source revealed, “Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times.”

They added, “It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.” Another mystery source reveals that the businessman was uncomfortable with Vergara’s busy schedule and successful crossover career.
