Braces yourselves for a potentially star-studded Broadway season! Colombian bombshell Sofia Vergra has revealed that she's in talks to star in the hit musical Chicago this spring.
"Qué susto," Vergara tells the Daily News. "I still don't know if I'm capable of dancing, singing and acting live...they say it's very difficult and that the rehearsals are very tough. They say that to meet the challenge is incredibly difficult."
Vergara, whose new movie, Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail, hits theaters Feb. 20, would play the lead role of Roxie Hart (portrayed by Renee Zelleweger in the movie adaptation) and become just the second Latina to be featured in the Chicago cast, after Bianca Marroquin.
If we're lucky, those Jennifer Lopez/In The Heights rumors will be true, too, and two Latina A-listers will be starring on Broadway at the same time. Fingers crossed!
