Sofia Vergara's ex, Nick Loeb, is not backing down!
The 39-year-old businessman and the Hot Pursuit actress have been in an ongoing battle surrounding frozen embryos, after Loeb filed a lawsuit against his former fiancée. Loeb claimed that Vergara was attempting to destroy the two frozen female embryos they had stored while they were still together.
The Colombian belleza's legal team then fired back saying his allegations were completely false. "The claims made against Sofia Vergara by Nick Loeb are uncredible and hold no merit," the actress' attorney told People. "Vergara has never wanted to destroy her embryos."
Now, Vergara's ex is speaking out. "I have always strongly believed that life begins at conception and that every embryo is a life on the journey towards birth. I created these two female embryos with the purpose of taking them to term and not destruction, because I have always dreamed of being a father," Loeb said in a statement, according to Yahoo!
"I have previously offered to waive any parental or financial responsibilities on the part of my ex, and to even give her the opportunity to be involved with the child in the future, should she change her mind. I take my responsibility and obligation of being a parent very seriously. Regardless of how life comes to be created, this should have no determination on the rights of either wanting to be or the requirements of having to be a parent."
Vergara and Loeb split in 2014 after the actress cited "having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
