Shakira Teams Up With T-Mobile To Announce Global Plan

International superstar Shakira is the new face of wireless provider T-Mobile!

The Colombian singer announced a multi-year partnership with the company at a customer event in New York’s Bryant Park on Wednesday. Shakira, along with Puerto Rican DJ Swiss Beatz, performed for a crowd of 7,000 people to kick-off the exciting collaboration between the singer and T-Mobile. 

“Today is all about bringing the world closer together...” Shakira said, “I look forward to being able to share my music in new and innovative ways.

T-Mobile recently announced a plan to offer unlimited global data and texting in over 100 countries at no extra charge. The company will work with the Grammy-winning artist to create exciting platforms to promote and market Shakira’s upcoming album releases.

In addition, Shakira and T-Mobile will raise awareness for her primary charity, The Barefoot Foundation, which builds schools for communities in Latin America.
