This is the rumor that just won't die. In August of 2010, Shakira was snapped exiting the same Barcelona hotel as popular Spanish football star Gerard Pique, who apparently was not registered for a room. Local tabloids reported that the duo had spent two nights together, though at the time, both were engaged to be married to other people. When confronted about the rumors, Shakira told press, "It’s funny how the newspapers want to see you married, and then see you divorced. Well, I won’t make any of them." The imaginary couple met at the 2010 World Cup, when Pique arrived to help film Shakira's anthem for the global event, "Waka, Waka." There might actually be some truth to this rumor, as the two were spotted again in November 2010 in the Spanish resort town of Blanes. Who knows? Maybe they were just both on vacation!
