TVGuide.com caught up with Wizards of Waverly Place star, Selena Gomez at Z100's Jingle Ball and asked the actress/singer/entrepreneur what she has planned for the holidays.
"I'm going to disconnect, do nothing...Just go home," said Selena, 18. Selena's desire to "disconnect," isn't surprising considering the busy year she's had. In 2010, the Disney star released her second album, A Year Without Rain, starred in her first movie, Ramona & Beezus, launched a clothing line with Kmart called Dream Out Loud, and filmed the fourth and final season of her hit TV show, Wizards of Waverly Place.
In July, Selena told Latina.com what the holidays mean to her. "I feel like they are crucial times for me to make up for all of the time that I’ve missed during the year, because I’m constantly working and that’s when it kind of slows down for me," said Gomez. "The holidays are a really important time for my family. I really just love to spend time with them."
The young star, who usually travels with an entourage that includes her publicist, hair and makeup people, a large security guard and her mom who travels with her everywhere, also shared her New Year's Resolution.
"My new years resolution will probably be to trust myself a little bit more," adds Selena. "I always question myself and I ask a thousand other people what I should do so it’s kind of nice to just be able to trust myself a little bit more."
