Selena Gomez is Doing 'Really Good' Without Justin Bieber

Breaking up is definitely hard to do, but some are better at it than others. While Justin Bieber is wallowing in his sorrows—he recently released an acoustic breakup song called "Nothing Like Us" and told People he's "not in the happiest place that I've ever been"—Selena Gomez is handling the split like a pro.

The 20-year-old star has a lot to be happy about. She's working on a new album that's expected in June, gearing up for her Wizards Return special (Mar. 15), and is costarring with James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens in an upcoming sex- and drug-filled indie flick Spring Breakers.

Gomez, who's already been linked to Australian actor Luke Bracey, recently told E! Online at her Nylon magazine cover party just how good she's been doing post-breakup.

"I'm good. I'm really good," she said. "I've been recording, having a lot of fun with my girlfriends, having a good time."

Gomez is also embracing her edgier side. She told E! she's "definitely a little bit more sassy now" and her upcoming film Spring Breakers (Mar. 29) will be proof.

"I think people are used to seeing me in a certain way," Gomez said. "I think it will be a little shocking for people, but in a good way. The movie as a whole is a lot to take in, and I've definitely expressed that to my younger fans."
