A little scandal isn't gonna keep Alex Rodriguez away from the bottles and models. The soon-to-be-divorced baseball player threw a party at Jay Z's Manhattan hotspot, the 40/40 club, and spent the night mingling with Madonna's inner circle.
Among A-Rod's guests at his All Star Game party were manager Guy Oseary, who represents both the baller and the Material Girl, and rumoredly sold out his two top clients to garner publicity for Madge's upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour, as well as reformed party girl Ingrid Casares, who has been Madonna's BFF since the early '80s and even supposedly had her own affair with the pop star.
Reporters at the event asked A-Rod about how he's coping with his headline-making divorce, and his answers seem to reveal that it isn't bothering him as much as it could: "Look, everyone has distractions. ... everyone goes through personal issues. Mine are on the front page of the papers. I'm fine with it. You have to deal with that, challenging times," he told The Insider's Pat O'Brien. "Times are a bit difficult, they are challenging times, but I'll get through them," he added.
We don't know if we would consider public infidelities and bitter divorce mere "distractions," but at least we know Alex isn't gonna let his personal life get in the way of baseball season.
