Cynthia Rodriguez stuck to her word and let her estranged husband Alex Rodriguez visit with his 3-year-old daughter Natasha in Toronto this past weekend. The family, minus their three-month-old Ella (who was house-bound with an ear infection) were reunited in the Canadian city, where A-Rod and the Yankees were scheduled to play a baseball game against the Blue Jays.
Paparazzi caught the family together on Friday, with Natasha's arms wrapped protectively around her father's neck. "Alex and Cynthia are going through really difficult times," A-Rod's attorney Alan Kluger tells Usmagazine.com. "All of their decisions are going to be based upon what’s in the best interest of their daughters." A source close to the family says of Alex and Natasha, "they're going to have a relationship for the rest of their lives."
Cynthia agreed to the meeting after Natasha started asking for her father, saying "I miss my daddy."
Not everyone is showing A-Rod as much love and support as his three-year-old these days. After nearly two weeks of headlines, divorce papers and scandal, the baseball player got special treatment from fans at the Yankees-Blue Jays game on Friday night. The crowd around the dugout taunted A-Rod by holding up pictures of Madonna, the pop icon with whom he allegedly had an extramarital affair.
Good to see Alex is seeing the light and finally prioritizing his daughters above everyone else—we have a feeling they might be the only ones who still love him once this divorce is over.
