Another one bites the dust! The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky and her hunky Puerto Rican beau Roberto Martinez have officially split up. We have to admit, we were getting a little suspicious after the wedding was called off due to Ali’s injury last spring and mysteriously never rescheduled (seriously, have you seen Martinez, he’s a catch—check him out on Guy’s page in the December/January issue of Latina).

Roberto Martinez & Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky's Wedding Plans On Hold

In an official statement, a rep for the couple announced, “Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.”

We’re not sure why, but this makes us really sad. They were one of the few (if not the only) couple to come out of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchises that we were really rooting for. Their story-book romance developed during the sixth season of the Bachelorette and Ali chose her Latin lover on the finale, which ended with a proposal. Just last month, Fedotowsky tried to shoot down rumors that trouble in paradise was behind the couple’s decision to postpone their wedding.

Sexiest Moments from Roberto on 'The Bachelorette'

"We didn't meet in the most traditional way. We had a very short courtship and we only knew each other nine weeks before we got engaged," Fedotowsky told People. "We are still figuring out our lives as individuals."

It looks like they will be figuring out their lives solo from here on out. R.I.P. to another reality TV romance. Wait, does this mean Roberto has a shot at being the next Bachelor? Hmm, maybe there is an upside to this break up...
