A Latino James Bond?! Something like that. According to Deadline, director Robert Rodriguez will helm the first episode of a show that’s being described by the site as a “Latino James Bond-type series.”

Rodriguez’s Comcast cable network El Rey Network will be behind the show, which is also being backed by John Fogelman, CEO of Hollywood incubator FactoryMade Ventures, and his co-CEO Cristina Patwa.

At Univision’s upfront last month, the Mexican American director shared details of the first shows from his cable network; a series of his and Quentin Tarantino’s Dusk Till Dawn movie as well as a series from Alex Kurtzman and Orci’s K/O Paper Products.
