Right now the papá is focused on raising his twins and promoting his new children’s book, Santiago The Dreamer in Land Among the Stars. The book will be published in English and Spanish on Nov. 14.

“The first book is about my beginning,” Martin said on the show. “I did some auditions, and I was rejected, I heard it three times Next, Next, Next. I was not accepted in Menudo, the music band that I was a part of, and it was really frustrating.”

Santiago, the lead character in the novels, must overcome the disappointment of not getting the lead in the school play. Despite the obstacles, he still pursues his dreams -- with the help of his familia, of course!

The Livin’ La Vida Loca singer says the book has great advice for children and their parents. “[Santiago] has a father who supports him, and I believe that’s very important. This is a book that will benefit not only children, but also parents and whoever reading this book to their kids will receive an impact. It’s very important to have a lot of communication with your kids.”
