Amanda Peterson (Can't Buy Me Love) & Christina Milian (Love Don't Cost A Thing)

In the 1987 teen comedy Can’t Buy Me Love, Amanda Peterson played Cindy Mancini, a spoiled and popular high school cheerleader who pretends to fall in love with a high school nerd (Patrick Dempsey) after he offers her $1,000 to pretend to be his girlfriend for a month. In 2003, Cuban actress Christina Milian starred in a remake of Can't Buy Me Love called Love Don’t Cost A Thing, in which she played Paris Morgan, a beautiful cheerleader who agrees to date a nerd named Alvin Johnson (Nick Cannon) after he agrees to fix her car.
