It's official: Nick Cannon confirms that he and Mariah Carey have separated.

The America's Got Talent host shared the sad news with The Insider"There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months," he said. "[Right now] my main focus is my kids."

A publicist for Carey declined to comment upon the divorce rumors. "I am not commenting on Mariah's personal life, but Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour," they said.

As previously reported, Carey, 44, and Cannon, 33, have been living in separate homes since May. Allegedly, lawyers have nearly finalized all divorce proceedings between the couple, who have been married since 2008 and have two children together, Moroccan and Monroe. Sources claim that a property settlement and child custody agreement have already been agreed upon by the couple and their lawyers.

The couple, who married in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in April 2008, have not been seen together since February, when they attended the premiere of Carey's "You're Mine" music video together.

Wishing Mariah & Nick all the best during this difficult time!
