We are proud to present our annual list of the 50 Most Beautiful Latinas in Hollywood!
Next Slideshow: Steppin' Out: Nadine Velazquez, Aubrey Plaza, Cameron Diaz and More!
La La Anthony, 33
This strikingly beautiful Nuyorican actress and reality television star likes dressing to the nines; and the stylish Think Like a Man star always looks good from “H to T,” as Tyra Banks would say. But for La La Anthony, being attractive is all about the attitude. “Looking fierce is more about confidence than what you’re wearing,” says Anthony. “If you’re confident you could be wearing a tank and jeans and as long as you know you look good when you walk out, that’s how people are going to perceive you.”
Jennifer Lopez, 43
It just wouldn’t be a “Most Beautiful” list without Jennifer Lopez, the first Latina to be named People magazine’s “Most Beautiful,” back in 2011. Since her first starring role in the Selena biopic, J.Lo has been wowing the world with her curvaceous body and unbelievable beauty. And, like a fine wine, la Lopez seems to only be getting better with age. Maybe it’s because of her personal mantra: "Beauty comes from inside. It's been said many times, but I believe it's the truth.”
Sofia Vergara, 40
She’s got one of the most enviable figures in Hollywood, and Sofia Vergara works hard at maintaining it. The Modern Family star, who admits to hating the gym, knows staying in shape is a must. “I psychologically fool myself into believing its part of my job. And then, of course, once I'm done, I'm really glad I did it because I feel so good." And she looks darn good, too!
Victoria Justice, 19
She may be the star of Nickelodeon’s hit series Victorious, but you will probably never see Victoria Justice going over the top when it comes to her hair and makeup. That’s because the half-Puerto Rican singer and actress, who recently starred in the film Fun Size, prefers to a more effortless appearance. "I like an almost-no-makeup look,” Justice tells Self magazine. “I wear a bit of blush, waterproof mascara and a lipcolor with a sheer finish. Done!" And boy does she pull off natural, laid-back beauty so effortlessly.
Eva Longoria, 37
One glance at Eva Longoria’s most recent magazine cover, where she looks white (lingerie) hot for GQ Mexico’s December/January issue, and you’ll see why she’s made this year’s list. Longoria’s got a bodacious bod and fascinating face. But it’s her infectious personality that makes the former Desperate Housewives star stand out. “Beauty lies mainly, above all, in personality, not in the skin,” Longoria tells GQ Mexico. And we couldn’t agree more!
Charisma Carpenter, 42
Three cheers for Charisma Carpenter! The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has been captivating audiences with her beauty since her days as a San Diego Chargers cheerleader. But she really made hearts race when she posed in Playboy’s June 2004 issue. “I had just had my son and I'd gained 50 lbs. during pregnancy. I wanted to get back to my old self. I wanted to feel desirable and sexy. So I thought, 'What if I went full throttle?'"
Aubrey Plaza, 28
She may be hilarious, but Aubrey Plaza is also hot to trot. The half-Boricua Parks and Recreation star knows how to deliver a joke while looking good in a dress. Just don’t expect Plaza to become the face of any beauty brand anytime soon. “I’d rather do a World of Warcraft ad than, like, a lipstick commercial,” says Plaza. “Just because.” And just like that, Plaza has become the poster girl for gamers everywhere!
Jordana Brewster, 32
She may be the cook’s daughter on TNT’s Dallas reboot, but Jordana Brewster’s character has two Ewing boys fighting for her. But we can’t blame them. I mean have you seen the Brazilian-American actress? She’s nothing short of stunning. And, she plans to stay that way, just like her mom, a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. “She instilled in me the importance of an active lifestyle and healthy diet,” says Brewster.
For years, the oh-so-exquisite Maite Perroni has been causing men sleepless nights. Want proof? Well, the Mexican telenovela star and singer has won Premio Juventud’s “Chica que me quite el sueño” award twice! So what are Perroni’s beauty secrets? “Sleep as much as possible, remove my makeup and stay hydrated with plenty of liquids,” says the fomer Rebelde star and member of Mexican pop group RBD. “I also always put on sunscreen before I leave the house and use raw potatoes to relieve puffy eyes.”
Hips Don’t Lie, Shakira is hot, hot, hot. From her first English-language video for “Whenever, Wherever” to her recent dancetastic “Get It Started” clip with Pitbull, the Colombian singing sensation exudes pure sensuality with each and every jaw-dropping gyration, making men’s hearts race. But these days, Shaki has a whole new glow about. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that’s she’s pregnant with her first child, and she’s loving every minute of the experience.
Lauren Velez, 48
For seven seasons, Lauren Velez has portrayed the ruthlessly calculating Capt. Maria LaGuerta on Showtime’s Dexter. But the Puerto Rican beauty – currently working on They Call Me La Lupe, a biopic about Cuban singer La Lupe – isn’t as hard-nosed as her character. She’s actually much more animated and easy-going, and she’s happy to grow old gracefully. “All you need is self-confidence, a smile, and to stop worrying about your flaws,” says Velez. "I spent a lot of my youth focusing on what I didn't like about myself, I don’t do that anymore."
Arlenis Sosa, 23
There’s no denying that Arlenis Sosa is a model beauty. Literally! The Dominican model has been roaring down the runway at fashion shows from Milan to New York. And Sosa was an instant hit in the industry. Only two weeks after being signed, the stunner booked her first editorials for Vogue and Vogue Italia. “Anna Wintour sent me to the Met Ball the first week I arrived in New York,” said Sosa. “I felt like Cinderella!”
Penelope Cruz, 38
It’s no wonder she’s known as the “Spanish enchantress,” Penelope Cruz has the kind of striking looks that can stop any man dead in his tracks. It’s no wonder the Oscar-winning actress a muse to directors like Pedro Almodóvar and Woody Allen. But there’s more to Cruz than her naturally pout lips. The starlet who admits to "being happier in my 30s than I was in my 20s" is a complex, sexy and real woman, much like her character in Volver, a role that resulted in her first Academy Award nomination.
Cameron Diaz, 40
Yes, Cameron Diaz is drop dead gorgeous. But that’s not the only reason we’ve added the Charlie’s Angels star to our “Most Beautiful” list. The Cuban-American California-girl is a self-proclaimed tomboy with the killer arms and tight body to prove it, making it really hard to believe she’s 40! So what’s her fountain of youth? “I guess its exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex,” says the fitness-loving former model. “Yes, we all need that as human beings. Its healthy, it's natural, it's what we are here to do.”
Morena Baccarin, 33
It’s no wonder Morena Baccarin played lead alien Anna on ABC’s short-lived remake of the V television series; the Brazilian American actress’ beauty is out of this world. The high-profile role has made her a hot commodity in Hollywood, resulting in a riveting role as the betrayed wife of an Al Qaeda operative-turned-double-agent on Homeland. Not sure how anyone could betray a stunner like Baccarin, even if it’s just on television. Perish the thought!
Odette Annable, 27
It should come as no surprise that Odette Annable was the homecoming queen at Woodcrest Christian High School in Riverside, California. The Brothers & Sisters and House star is a real looker. And the half-Cuban actress’ stock could soar to new heights among hot-blooded males in the near future. That’s because she’s about to get pretty-girl-tough for her recurring role on Cinemax’s new action series Banshee.
Stacey Dash, 45
Stacey Dash has been charming audiences with her exotic looks and endearing smile since her starring role opposite Alicia Silverstone in 1995’s Clueless. And nearly 20 years later, it doesn’t look like the part-Mexican actress has aged a bit! But that isn’t due to some deal with the devil. The former star of VH1’s Single Ladies has a simpler answer. “I eat healthy, I run and I work out with a personal trainer who does a very strenuous, athletic workout with me four to five times a week.”
Salma Hayek, 46
Salma Hayek is 46 going on fabulous! Maybe it has something to do with her commitment to aging gracefully. “I don't do injections and I don't do Botox,” says the Mexican actress who admits she’s not a skinny girl and wouldn’t have it any other way. “I push it. I’m at the limit of chubbiness at all times, but I’m happy at all times,” says Hayek, adding. “You have to have an alarm number. When you get to that number, you have to start putting it in reverse.”
Jessica Alba, 31
There’s only one word to describe Jessica Alba’s beauty: Flawless! Whether she’s gracing the cover of a magazine or photographed out-and-about with her family by the paparazzi, the stunningly beautiful Mexican-American actress never disappoints. And we’ve got her mother to blame! "Mom always told me to have a proper cleansing and moisturizing routine. No matter how tired I am, I cleanse and moisturize every morning and night,” says Alba. “I wear minimum SPF 20 daily, whether in a tinted moisturizer or just sunscreen.”
Zoë Saldaña, 34
She may be a radiant beauty, but Zoë Saldaña is really a self-confessed guy’s girl. It’s something most people wouldn’t know, unless they’ve seen her action film Colombiana. Saldaña trained five to six hours a day for three months before filming by doing a mix of cardio, light weights, core moves, and martial arts. And, she loved every minute of it. "Physical roles give me a chance to learn something new. Like the fact that I can grab a gun, disassemble it, and put it back together. I’m a girl from Queens," she told Women's Health.
Jasmine Villegas, 19
Long before Selena Gomez upset Justin Bieber fans by taking the pop star off the marker, Jasmine Villegas was the focus of their tirades. That’s because the Filipino/Mexican musician and Latina.com’s newest blogger starred in the Biebs’ “Baby” video, portraying as his love interest. And it’s easy to see why she’d catch his eye… The fresh-faced singer-songwriter is a real beaut! And, she’s down to earth. ”I’m just a simple girl living out my dream,” says Villegas.
Cote de Pablo, 33
She may play a tough-as-nails agent on CBS’ NCIS, but Cote de Pablo is actually softer and sweeter than her character. The Chilean-born actress, who believes in the “less is more” philosophy to beauty, even describes herself as an old-soul. “I somehow identify with women who have gone through things,” says de Pablo. “Maybe it’s because I’m an older soul. I don’t know why at such a young age I could understand where they were coming from.”
Eva Mendes, 38
With those piercing eyes, plump lips and attention-grabbing mole, there’s no doubt Eva Mendes is a bombshell. "She has strong features that are fun to create looks for," says makeup artist Steeve Daviault of the Cuban-American Girl in Progress star who loves to experiment with makeup. So who does she turn to for their honest opinion? “My mother,” says Mendes. “The other day, she confessed that the smooth chignon I wore to a film premiere made my head look too small compared to the rest of my body. Ouch! Let’s just say that I can always count on my mother to help me keep my feet on the ground!”
Selena Gomez, 20
When Justin Bieber performs his latest single “Beauty and a Beat,” he must be talking about his on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez. The former Wizards of Waverly Place star is one bewitching beauty! Even when she’s pushing the envelope in edgier roles, like her darker turn in the highly anticipated Spring Breakers, Gomez is still utterly gorgeous. So we totally understand why the Biebs can’t let SelGo go!
Demi Lovato, 20
Domo origato, Demi Lovato! The fresh-faced former Disney starlet – currently turning heads with her eye-catching hair, makeup and fashion choices on The X Factor – has been quite open about her struggles with eating disorders and bullying. And after seeking professional help in 2011, Lovato has returned stronger than ever, serving as a beacon of hope for young girls everywhere! And for that we salute her!
Naya Rivera , 25
iAy caramba! Naya Rivera is the epitome of sexy. With her smoldering good looks and shapely figure, the Glee star exudes sensuality on and off screen. It’s no wonder she’s landed on Maxim’s “Hot 100” list time and time again. So who is Rivera’s beauty icon? Her mom. “She’s so comfortable in her own skin that I really admire that. She doesn’t need a lot of bells and whistles to make herself feel beautiful and I try and take that from her all the time.”
Bella Thorne, 15
Bella Thorne may only 15 years old, but the red-headed star of Disney’s Shake It Up has already learned the important lessons to maintaining her beauty for years to come. "Never leave your makeup on too long," she tells OK! magazine. “When you don't have to wear makeup, then don't! If you're going to the mall with your friends then don't wear makeup. Your skin does not need your pores clogged."
Sara Paxton, 24
She may look like the quintessential California girl, but Sara Paxton is no space cadet. The Shark Night 3D star is a half-Mexican American beauty with a good head on her shoulders and great parents. “The way my parents complimented me in my household wasn't ‘You look pretty Sara.’ It was ‘Oh you're so funny Sara’ or ‘Your personality is so great,’” says Paxton. “Luckily having such strong parents like that who complimented me on other things than my looks, it really puts things in perspective for you.”
Francia Raisa, 24
She may play the sultry, seductive and always glam Adrian on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but off camera Francia Raisa prefers a more natural approach. “My mother taught me that when [you’re] more natural, people can see your true beauty,” says Raisa. “Because if you do too much makeup every day, when you do dress up, it’s not so much of a surprise anymore. So I go more of the natural route, and so when I have a special occasion I get to glam up and get compliments. Because every girl likes to get complimented.”
Camilla Belle, 26
Since her appearance in the prehistoric film 10,000 BC, Camilla Belle has been mesmerizing men with her astonishing good looks. But Belle’s beauty comes from more than her porcelain skin and dark and distinguished eyebrows. The half-Brazilian actress takes great pride in having done all of her own stunts for When a Stranger Calls, toning up her already curvy body in the process.
Sara Ramirez, 37
She’s an oh-so-talented Broadway and television star, but these days Sara Ramirez is making headlines for redefining the conventional standards of beauty. “I’ve had a lot of feedback from people in the street who are grateful we now have a different body type on TV,” says the Mexican-American Grey’s Anatomy star and Latina’s December/January cover girl. “It’s helped their own self-esteem.” Ramirez is just glad to work where they allow her to be her natural, beautiful self. "Nobody from the show said I was too heavy,” she says happily. “Instead they wanted me to dance in my underwear."
Ana Ortiz, 41
Ana Ortiz will soon be starring as a housekeeper on Lifetime’s Devious Maids, but there’s absolutely nothing homely about this former Ugly Betty star. The half-Puerto Rican actress is fierce, fabulous and fetching; and she always dazzles on the red carpet. But it’s Ortiz’s infectious laughter that really makes her a standout beauty in our eyes.
Valerie Cruz, 36
From Nip/Tuck and Dexter to Homeland and Scandal, it seems like Valerie Cruz has been everywhere. And, she’s been making people ask, “Who’s that girl?” for years. With her caramel-colored skin and flawless face, the Cuban American actress serves as a prime example of model beauty. When producers of HBO’s True Blood were looking to cast “a beautiful, sophisticated upscale woman in her thirties,” they turned to Cruz, who fits that description to a T!
Roselyn Sanchez, 39
There’s no shame in former Without a Trace star Roselyn Sanchez’s game. The Puerto Rican actress and singer, who is set to star in Lifetime’s Devious Maids next year, doesn’t mind being called a sex symbol. “If people think you’re sexy and beautiful, there’s nothing wrong with that,” Sanchez tells Maxim. “Of course, the most important thing for me to hear isn’t, ‘Oh, my God, she’s so hot,’ it’s, ‘She’s really great at what she does.’ It’s even better when you hear both.”
Sarah Shahi, 32
If the Dallas Cowboys are “America’s Team,” then the case could be made that Sarah Shahi is “America’s Sweetheart.” The half-Spanish actress is a former member of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, beauty queen and swimsuit cover girl. The star of the USA Network’s short-lived legal drama Fairly Legal is f-i-n-e, fine. Maybe that’s why Maxim named her the “Hottest TV star of 2012.”
Joan Smalls, 24
It should come as no surprise that Joan Smalls ranks as the No. 1 model on Models.com, stating: “With her innate elegance and multi-cultural beauty, Joan Smalls has become the defining face of modern luxury.” The Puerto Rican fashion model with the flawless skin is picture perfect, and she’s got the photos to prove it. This year alone, Smalls has served as the face of Estee Lauder, Givenchy, H&M, Fendi, Calvin Klein Jeans, Lacoste and Chanel.
Laura Harring, 48
She’s perhaps best known for her role as Rita in David Lynch’s cult classic Mulholland Drive, but to us Laura Harring will always be the first Latina Miss USA. The Mexican-American actress, who most recently guest-starred on Gossip Girl, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and NCIS: Los Angeles, claimed the title in 1985, some 33 years after the pageant’s inception, giving Latina girls a reason to believe they, too, could one day win the coveted crown even without blonde hair and and blue-eyes.
Madeleine Stowe, 54
This year, Madeleine Stowe was named to People magazine’s “2012 World’s Most Beautiful Women” list – the oldest woman to make the cut this year – after returning to acting after a 12-year absence. But the Costa Rican-American actress, who stars as vexing vixen Victoria Grayson on ABC’s Revenge, doesn’t seem to have aged a day since leaving the business. The natural beauty with age-defying skin is still absolutely stunning.
Evelyn Lozada, 37
Our girl Evelyn Lozada is absolutely gorgeous - and looks better with age. The Basketball Wives star and savvy businesswoman keeps her gorgeous figure by dominating the gym. Did we mention she's our new Latina fitness blogger? Of course, she is.
Vida Guerra, 38
Talk about the best of both worlds. Vida Guerra has had a successful career as a hip-hop and fitness model. The Cuban-born beauty, who danced in P. Diddy’s “Shake Ya Tailfeather” video, has been named to FHM magazine’s “Top 100 Sexiest Females" list, and was named the winner of the magazine's "Best Butt Award” twice. But in recent years, she’s dedicated herself to toning her physique. “A lot of men out there don't want a girl who's all skinny; they want a voluptuous woman,” says Guerra. “My curves -- particularly my butt -- are what I get complimented on the most.”
America Ferrera, 28
There’s nothing ugly about America Ferrera, except that starring role on ABC’s Ugly Betty that endeared her to millions. And boy did it take a lot to turn this stunning swan into an ugly duckling—big braces, bad hair and makeup and that horrendous poncho. In real life, though, the Real Women Have Curves star, who appreciates her curvas, has been named to People’s “100 Most Beautiful People in the World” list. “I think it's hilarious when people call Jessica Alba or Eva Longoria curvy,” says Ferrera. “Come on. They're not curvy; they're small. I'm curvy.”
Adamari Lopez, 41
Since her appearance in telenovelas like Camila and Amigas y Rivales, Adamari Lopez has been recognized as one of the world’s most beautiful women by magazines like People en Español and Para Todos. But Lopez is more than a pretty face; she’s a fighter and activist. The Puerto Rican telenovela star is a breast cancer survivor who dedicates her off-time campaigning for breast cancer awareness.
It’s no wonder millions of women have purchased “Thalía: ¡Belleza!-Lessons in Lipgloss and Happiness.” Who wouldn’t want to get the Mexican singer and actress’ magnificent glow? She’s People en Español’s most celebrated beauty, holding the record for being on the magazine’s Más Bellos list nine times. So when does she feel most stunning? “In my house, when I don’t bring any makeup, when wearing comfortable clothes and when I’m playing with my kids, that’s the moment where I feel the most beautiful,” says Thalia.
Paula Garces, 38
Paula Garces is the kind of bombshell who turns heads. The Colombian actress, best known for her role as no-nonsense officer Tina Hanlon on the The Shield, is breathtakingly beautiful. And, she’s fit as a fiddle. So why does she work so hard to stay toned and tight? Maybe it’s because before she worked as an actress, Garces was an avid kick boxer and personal trainer. And even though she’s helping people melt away the fat these days, she’s definitely making men melt!
Josie Loren, 25
She portrayed a talented gymnast on ABC Family’s Make It or Break It. And the Cuban-American actress with gold-medal worthy looks had to endure taxing three-day-a-week training sessions, including the same exercises traditional gymnasts do, to play the part. But the experience has given her a greater appreciation for fitness. "Now that I've been on the show for over three years, this has become a lifestyle instead of a boot camp," explains Loren. "I have more energy, I sleep better, and more importantly I feel better about myself. There's nothing better!"
Rocsi Diaz, 29
Rocsi Diaz rose to acclaim as the co-host of BET's 106 & Park, but these days the Honduran/Chilean cutie is increasing her star power as a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight. Looking glam and gorgeous in her new high-profile role, Diaz has even managed to steal the spotlight from many of the Hollywood luminaries she's been called upon to interview. Now that’s something to report about!
Genesis Rodriguez, 25
From the first moment Genesis Rodriguez appears on screen in Man on a Ledge, you can’t take your eyes off of her. It doesn’t help that the Cuban/Venezuelan-American actress and former telenovela star sports some oh-so-revealing outfits, including a skin-tight body suit and a hot pink bra and panties. Like Alicia Keys sings, “This girl is on fire.” And film producers have taken note, with Rodriguez landing more and more high-profile roles in her short career in Hollywood.
Denise Vasi, 31
It’s hard to image anyone could successfully replace Stacey Dash on VH1’s series Single Ladies, but the show’s producers hit the jackpot when they cast Denise Vasi. The former All My Children star and fashion model is a real knockout, and she credits her abuelita for helping her maintain her mind-blowing beauty. “My grandmother has always been my beauty inspiration,” says Vasi. “At 71 years old she's still naturally gorgeous. As a little girl, she taught me everything about beauty, cosmetics, hair & skincare.”
Christina Milian, 31
Call her one in a Milian. The Voice’s très sexy Social Media Correspondent has been making men’s’ jaws drop from “AM to PM” since the release of her self-titled debut in 2001. And the Cuban-American singer/actress shows of putting a halt to that. If anything, she’s making even more men drool. That’s because she’s still as sexy as ever, and now she’s charming the pants off of everybody (including Christina Aguilera) with her lively personality on NBC’s hit reality singing competition.
Alessandra Ambrosio, 31
It’s no wonder Alessandra Ambrosio is a Victoria’s Secret Angel. The Brazilian supermodel is one heavenly specimen. She’s one of the world’s sexiest women, with a body to envy – even after giving birth to two children. The proof: A bikini-clad Ambrosio, looking all kinds of svelte, recently donned Victoria’s Secret’s $2.5 million “The Floral Fantasy Bra,” at the brand’s annual televised fashion show, only a few months after having her second child.
