During last night's Miss Universe pageant, all of Latin America cringed for Miss Venezuela.
Perhaps even the entire world.
When Irene Sofia Esser Quintero was asked by cutie actor Diego Boneta what new law she would want to create, what ended up coming out of her beaming mouth sounded more like a hot, rambling mess.
“I think that any laws that are in constitution, or in life, are already made. I think that we should have a straight way to go in our similar or ehh.. in our lives or as it is... for example, I am a surfer and I think that the best way that I can take is the wave that I wait for it…” was Miss Venezuela’s response. Yea, we’re lost. We give her points for the effort, though.
Still, Miss Venezuela looked radiant and definitely represented for Latinas on Wednesday night, ending up in third place. Miss Philippines (Janine Tugonon) came in second and Olivia Culpa from the Good Ole USA was crowned the coveted “Miss Universe 2012.”
Oh, and if you want to take a jab at what Miss Venezuela meant by her now-viral answer, below is the golden video.
