Mike Pence went to see the Broadway musical Hamilton Friday night and let’s just say he wasn’t entirely welcomed.

Mike Pence’s “That Mexican Thing” was the Highlight of the Vice Presidential Debate

According to BuzzFeed, VP-elect was booed upon arrival as he made his way to his seat, and that wasn’t only time Pence was called out during the performance. After the show, the cast took a few minutes to deliver an important message to Pence, expressing their concerns on the upcoming administration.

“We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us,” said cast member Brandon Victor Dixon.

“We truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us,” Dixon continued. “This is one American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and orientations.”

No word if Pence caught the message; he left as they were speaking. However a spokesperson said that he was in the hallway and heard the entire thing.
