Poor Mariah Carey! According to People, the 43-year-old diva dislocated her shoulder this past weekend while filming a music video and was rushed to a New York City hospital.
At the hospital, the superstar’s joint was reset by doctors and she’s now recovering at home.
Cindi Berger, who serves as a rep for Carey, said the singer “will be fine.” More than fine, we see, because Berger added that Carey is set to perform in Central Park this upcoming Saturday for the MLB All Star Charity Concert with the NY Philharmonic.
According to USA Today, Carey's upcoming performance in Central Park will benefit the victims of Superstorm Sandy, which affected more than 20 states and became the largest Atlantic hurricane on record.
Carey’s recent injury took place during the filming of a video (directed by her hubter Nick Cannon) for the remix of her song “#Beautiful,” which features Young Jeezy. Carey also recently dropped a Spanglish version of the song titled "#Hermosa," which features R&B crooner Miguel.
We’re glad to hear that Carey has bounced back so quickly from this.
