Lindsay Lohan Turns Down Pitbull’s Apology, Rejects VMA Invite

Um, all we have to say is, "Your loss!" Who in their right mind would turn down an invite to the VMA's from Pitbull? Lindsay Lohan. The actress apparently wants nothing to do with Pitbull’s apology regarding the lyrics to his smash hit “Give Me Everything" or his invite to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, which aired last nigh. The actress recently filed a lawsuit against Mr. Worldwide for a line in his song featuring Ne-Yo and Afrojack, in which he mentions that he “got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” In the suit, which was acquired by TMZ, the actress’s attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, cited that the lyric about her client was “destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”

Pitbull Responds to Lindsay Lohan Lawsuit

When I mentioned Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was really a positive message,” the rapper said. “When I say ‘I got it locked up’... if you play at the park, if you’re from the neighborhood, when they say ‘you got it locked,’ ‘you got it locked up,’ that means you run that area.” Mr. Worldwide explained that when he said he has it ‘locked up’ like the actress, he’s trying to run the world however she does. “However she moves, whatever she does, people talk about one way or another,” he said. “To me it was uplifting—I was helping more than hurting.”

Despite the lawsuit, Pitbull proceeded with his scheduled performance of “Give Me Everything” last night...and tore it up, we might add!
