Daily Chisme: Lindsay Lohan Gets Nothing From "Everything" Lawsuit Against Pitbull

Happy Friday chismosos! Think you have problems? Trust us, Lindsay Lohan probably has it worse...

- The legal battle between Pitbull and the Freaky Friday actress is finally over! Back in August 2011, Lohan slapped the Cuban rapper with a lawsuit over his mega-hit song, "Give Me Everything," which includes a verse, "I've got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."

A federal judge dismissed the case yesterday and ruled that Pit's song was covered under the First Amendment, which allows for freedom of speech and creative expression.

When news first broke about the lawsuit, Pitbull set the record straight on Primer Impacto, and explained, “So when I say ‘I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,’ I’m basically saying she runs her world… I’m trying to run my world the same way,” he told Univision’s Pamela Silva. “However she moves, whatever she does, people talk about, you know, one way or another.”

After the hearing, his lawyer Marcos Jimenez said to E!, "This will further solidify the rights of artists to express themselves in song." He also added that Pitbull wasn't "shocked" by the ruling, but felt "disappointed" that Lindsay sued him in the first place.

Marcos also added, "He felt it was very important to address this head on to protect his right and the rights of other artist. He decided to fight this."

We are so glad he did! Ms. Lohan's checks won't be coming out of Pitbull's pocket. What are your thoughts on the case?
