Thalia and Javier Bardem are the latest to earn the honorable estrella, and we are celebrating their success by highlighting other celebs who have carved their way to making history.

The Spanish actor and Mexican pop star/actress are officially landing on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The Chamber of Commerce announced the news early this week and expressed that the two Latinos, “will shine even more light on the entertainment capital of the world,” reported Fox News Latino. Congrats!
In 2011, the Spanish actress earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That same year the Academy Award-winner for Woody Allen’s, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, gave birth to her first-born son, Leonardo.
The “Waka Waka” singer was awarded her Hollywood Walk of Fame estrella last year. She was also honored with the "2011 Recording Academy Person of the Year Award" for her music and philanthropic efforts with her foundation, Piez Dezcalsos.
The Stripped singer celebrated her victory on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2010. "Thank you so much for coming out to support me and support this amazing, incredible day in my life," she said to a crowd of fans who lined up for the special occasion.
The Vanilla Sky star always shined bright, but she officially earned her star on the 'Hollywood Walk' back in 2009. After receiving the honor she said, “It will be cool to be under people’s feet. It really is the place where people can understand exactly that actors are not really stars – they don’t exist in the sky, they exist on the ground just like everybody else.” Nicely put!
The comedian finally got his wish of being on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006. "I remember being 15, and walking up and down (the Walk of Fame) and dreaming about what I wanted to do and never thinking it was going to be done," said the star.
In 2007, the “She Bangs” singer snatched up his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of hundreds of screaming fans. "My work has been recognized. It will stay here forever, hopefully," he said, according to USA Today.
The Legend of Zorro star was honored in the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2005. The humble actor said, "It was an honor and privilege to arrive to this country 16 years ago with almost no money in my pocket."
Back in 1996, El Sol earned his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his heart-hitting mariachis and boleros. Receiving 5 Grammy Awards by the time he was 26 definitely garners a piece on the infamous block!
The legendary performer, who won many coveted awards throughout her career including an Oscar for West Side Story and a Tony for the musical The Ritz, officially won her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995. We think it was about time!
