Eva Mendes made a glowing appearance on the blue carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards this past Saturday. It was her first public outing since she ended her stay at Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab center. Eva was on hand to present the Best Supporting Actress prize with Thank You For Smoking hottie Aaron Eckhart.

Sadly—or, maybe, luckily—Eva's appearance barely caused a ripple: it was completely overshadowed by Angelina Jolie's arrival, and the first peek at her well-developed baby bump.

Q&A with the Pinker Tones

Imagine taking the world's coolest lounge sounds, putting them in a blender,
straining them through a filter of old Deee-Lite songs, and then spicing them

have you been up to?

We caught up with B while she was in NYC promoting the Spanish project to find out why she took that risk—and which Latin stars she thinks are hot!

Q&A with Tego Calderon

Tego Calderon made us wait a long time for his last album, The Underdog/El
Subestimado
. But this time? Fuacata—He's hitting us with El
Abayarde Contra-Ataca
just a year after his last LP dropped—at the same
time he appears in John Singleton's new movie Illegal
Tender
. We caught up to the new, workaholic Tego as he ran around a video
set, chased his kids, and answered our questions—all at once:

In Europe and Latin America, Manu Chao is huge, but in the United States, he's still more of an underground sensation. In case you haven't heard of him yet, here's a quick rundown on the man and his music:
