8 Celebrities You Never Knew Were Cheerleaders

Go! Fight! Win! Before they pursued a career in Hollywood, these celebrities showed off their pep and pizzazz to the gym court and football field.

From Eva Longoria to Cameron Diaz, these eight stars were all cheerleaders:

1. Cameron Diaz

Blonde and perky, Cameron Diaz perfectly looked the part of cheerleader during her days at Long Beach Polytechnic High School. Her classmate, Snoop Dogg, spoke about her cheerleading days in an interview with Yahoo!  “She ran with my homegirls, all my little cheerleading homegirls,” he said. “She was fly and she was hip.”

2. Sarah Shahi

Before Sarah Shahi landed a starring role on CBS’s Person of Interest, she worked as a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Yep – the Spanish-Persian actress was a professional cheerleader in her native state of Texas. “We rehearsed for eight hour a day every single day, and I was a college student,” she told Fox News about her stint with the Cowboys. “To be able to have that kind of foundation going into Hollywood was fantastic.”

3. Fergie

4. Anjelah Johnson

Peppy 106 & Park co-host Rocsi Diaz learned how to entertain a crowd as a cheerleader at West Jefferson High School in Harvey, Louisiana.
