Celebrities are always trying to brand themselves in as many new and innovative ways as possible. From launching fragrances to designing clothes, they use their fame to sell us products.
Now a handful of Latinas can also be found on your coffee stand, night table or bookshelf as they dabble in the life of an author. Here are 15 Latinas who have transitioned themselves from stars to authors:

Bella Thorne: The 16-year-old redheaded Disney Channel starlet has been busy co-writing the first book from her YA series called Autumn Falls about a 14-year-old girl whose high school life changes unexpedectly after an encounter with magic.
"I am very excited to be working with Random House and am so happy that Autumn Falls will have a home there," she said. "This book, although mysterious and magical, is inspired by different aspects of my personal life, which I hold very near and dear to my heart. I wanted to write a book that teens could relate to, but with a little bit of magic. I am thrilled and hopeful that my audience will grow with me throughout the series."
Thorne landed the multi-book deal with Random House earlier this year. The first book from the Autumn Falls series will be released in the summer of 2014.
Jennifer Lopez: The 44-year-old megastar recently announced during an interview that she would be tapping her inner writer to pen a book about her divorce from Marc Anthony. "I understood a lot of things about myself and my relationships, things I needed to learn,” she said about her split from Anthony. In the book, which is scheduled to be released in 2014, Lopez will open up about her experience after the divorce and what it was like becoming a mother at 38.
La La Anthony: The do-it-all mami announced she will be releasing a book titled -- The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness -- on January 28, 2014.
According to Us Weekly, the book chronicles Anthony's search for romance and offers advice on how to have a healthy relationship. "I'm so excited to be sharing my insights on love and relationships," Anthony told Us Weekly. "I hope this book shows women that they can overcome obstacles in their love life and be truly happy!"
Jenni Rivera: Before her unfortunate and untimely death last December, the Mexican-American superstar was busy working on her autobiography.
According to NBC Latino, in her new memoir -- Unbreakable: My Story, My Way -- Jenni opens up to fans about her personal struggles and professional triumphs, sharing that throughout her life, she was often challenged, but always unbreakable (hence the title).
The book, which has also been published in Spanish, hit shelves July 2 -- just in time for what would've been the star's birthday.
Thalia: The beautiful Mexicana told the Associated Press recently that she will be releasing a children's book this November. According to the Huffington Post, the book titled Chupi, was inspired by the Spanish word "chupon" meaning pacifier. The 41-year-old says her daughter Sabrina's struggle to get rid of the pacifier was the inspiration behind Chupi. "This was the story that I developed, as a personal technique, that worked to take away the pacifier," Thalia shared.
The book will include illustrations designed by Thalia herself, along with the star’s first children’s album. It will be released in both Spanish and English throughout the United States and Latin America.
Demi Lovato: Come June 11, Demi will be able to add "author" to her already impressive resume. The X Factor judge took to her Twitter to announce she would soon be releasing an eBook titled Demi. E! Online has reported that the interactive eBook, available exclusively for iPad, will feature never-before-seen video and photos, including personal pics and behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of her new album.
Jessica Alba: Jessica recently penned her first book after launching The Honest Company. Her book was released earlier this year. In The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, Jessica shares beauty routines, healthy recipes and DIY family projects. "It's totally crazy but amazing," Jessica told People. "I'm not extreme. This book is for people who are in the middle but want to create a healthier life, like me."
Lea Michele: The Glee star announced in May 2013 that she had landed a book deal with Crown Publishing Group. Lea will be writing a memoir, titled Brunette Ambition, which is being described as part memoir, part how-to and part style guide. The book is slated for a spring 2014 release.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi :From MTV's Jersey Shore to A Shore Thing, Snooki released her first novel in 2011. The book follows two cousins who spend a wild summer at the Jersey Shore. Sound familiar?
Jamie-Lynn Sigler: Best known for her role in the HBO series The Sopranos, Jamie-Lynn wrote her first memoir at the young age of 21. The memoir, titled Wise Girl, covers everything from the pressures she faced with fame to her almost being paralyzed from Lyme disease.
Eva Longoria: With the release of her cookbook, Eva's Kitchen, Eva proved to the world she was nothing like her Desperate Housewives character. Eva's recipes are internationally inspired and include Latin, French and Italian cuisines.
Nicole Richie: In 2006, Nicole wrote her first novel titled The Truth About Diamonds: A Novel. The book speaks about a girl named Nicole Richie and reads like a memoir, but it is in fact fiction.
Daisy Fuentes: Former model and TV host Daisy wrote Unforgettable You: Master the Elements of Style, Sprituality, and True Beauty. The book offers advice on everything from relationships to learning how to build more self-confidence.
Gloria Estefan: Gloria and her husband Emilio Estefan do just about everything together, including authoring an awesome cookbook featuring authentic cuban recipes. Estefan Kitchen makes it simple for anyone to master the art of Cuban cooking.
Jenni "JWOWW" Farley: JWOWW is another Jersey Shore alum who chose to turn author. Her book, The Rules According to JWOWW: Shore-Tested Secrets on Landing a Mint Guy, Staying Fresh to Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb, was released in January 2012 and dishes advice on everything from keeping your man "in check" to maintaining her "sick" body.
