Thursday night, Nickelodeon hosted the first ever Kids' Choice Sports Awards -- and it was unexpectedly awesome!

"8,000 screaming kids -- you gotta be kind of nuts to say yes to that," host Michael Strahan said before kicking on the raucous show at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.

The night was a wild ride: David Beckham and his sons, Romeo and Cruz, got slimed. Will Arnett had a shootout with New York Rangers' goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. George Lopez released his inner quarterback, and co-presenter Carlos PenaVega had a total fanboy moment when he asked Floyd Mayweather for his autograph... and the infamous boxer delivered by signing his forehead!

Big winners of the night include New York Giants' wide receiver Victor Cruz, who won the "Party Like A Sports Star" award, and New York Knick Carmelo Anthony, who took home the prize for "Clutch Player Of The Year."
