Pretty soon Kat Von D is going to have as many breakups as she has tattoos.
The Mexican-Argentinean tattoo artist and reality star, who had been planning a summer wedding with her fiancé Jesse James, ended her engagement to James in July. Then in August, on the day that her TLC reality show L.A. Ink was cancelled, James told People.com that the engagement was back on. But on Saturday, Von D took to her personal Facebook page to tell her fans that she's a single woman. "I am not in a relationship," Von D wrote in a post. "And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion."
Von D shared the reason for her split from James with People.com. "It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life," she told People."My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."
While Von D lives in Los Angeles, James lives in Austin, Texas which has some speculating that the long distance relationship was the reason for the split. "I am not in any way moving to Texas," Von D posted on Facebook. "And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo."
But Von D has no hard feelings: "I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love," she says.
