John Leguizamo knows what he wants and he'll do whatever it takes to get it!

According to Deadline, Leguizamo wanted to star as Pablo Escobar in the upcoming biopic, The King of Cocaine. He even went as far as spending $15,000 on a fat suit to convince the biopic's filmmaker, Brad Furman, that he would be perfect for the part.

The 49-year-old actor felt he was destined to play the Medellin Cartel kingpin since he was born in Colombia. Fortunately for Leguizamo, he landed the part!

Actors Oscar Isaac and Benicio del Toro were both intially being considered for the role.

No release date has been set yet, but we're looking forward to seeing Leguizamo in his Escobar portrayal.
