Joan Smalls Featured In Chanel’s Spring 2012 Campaign

The beautiful Puerto Rican model, Joan Smalls has been the it girl for the high-end modeling world since getting signed to Elite Model Management in 2007. Since then, the 24-year-old has graced the runway and appeared in ad campaigns for some of fashion’s most coveted designer brands ranging from Gucci to David Yurman. In 2008, Smalls also appeared on Ricky Martin's music video for his track "It's Alright."

Up until now, her resume looks quite impressive, but her most recent campaign ad for Chanel’s Spring 2012 line just took her to the ultimate fashion level. Smalls, along with Saskia de Brauw, shot the luxury label ad on location in France by renown photographer, Karl Lagerfeld.

The campaign seems to be inspired by weightless motions mixed with a romantic ballerina flair, which Smalls eloquently achieves.
